LET'S WORK TOGETHER
It’s all in the detail they say and by god Fiona & Rob’s beachside, festival themed wedding did this in buckets & spades (sorry I couldn’t help myself!!). From the flower-filled wellies guiding the path to the reception, to the fabulous vinyl centrepieces and the polaroid wall that featured each of the guests who attended, this wedding was about three things, family, friends and good fun. It is of no surprise, that Claire and her team at the Armada Hotel in Spanish Point excelled as usual in the delivery of such wonderful hospitality and warmth and in ensuring that every aspect of the day went off without a hitch.
Fiona was so chilled and looked absolutely stunning in her Eliza Jane Howell beaded dress. Her dad walked her up the aisle to one of my all time favourite songs Hoppipolla, by theIcelandic band Sigur Ros.
Eveanna O’Meara was the wedding celebrant, the couple contacted her through Marryme Ireland. Her words were earnest and sincere and reflected in every aspect the love that Fiona and Rob share for each other. She really made the ceremony so special and personal. This of course was helped by Fiona’s ridiculously talented cousins, Niamh, Roisin and uncle Donie who provided such beautiful music. Their version of ‘Hand in Hand’ by Walking on Cars gave me goose bumps!
One of my favourite parts of the day was when Eveanna told the story about how Fiona & Rob met at a friends Fancy dress Party. At the end of the night, Rob walked Fiona home or more accurately a Witch and a Tiger were seen heading off into the moonlight in the Tipperary countryside. The rest my friends is history…
